We come here at least once every year, and it’s always a great experience! The food is delicious, especially the Spanish tapas, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed — a perfect spot for a casual meal in Calpe. Highly recommended!

Stumbled on El Roble a couple of nights ago, not read any reviews beforehand. Yes, the service may have been a little slow but the quality of the food made up for it. Large piece of beautifully cook salmon and a perfect medium steak. It said sirloin on the menu but was definitely fillet. Very well priced too.

Family atmosphere and authentic cooking give a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Very good service for both us as adults as for our kids. Plenty of choice of delicious tapas in smaller or bigger rationes. I loved the albondigas, bread and aioli, fried squid, insalata russa and the eggs with fries. The cheese and meat is nothing special, just good, would opt for the more prepared tapas. The spicy chicken is a kind of spicy very taste ragout with fries. The deserts are also very taste, we tried the cheese cake, brownie style lava cake and the crepes. I had the flan, 2 small very nice caramel puddings. Definitely a recommendation for a well priced tapas restaurant with very tasty and fresh dishes!
